The prosecution of a former president is unprecedented and certain to kick off a political firestorm and a fierce courtroom fight — but the case isn’t the only legal challenge facing Trump going forward.

Kishpaugh retires from Independence Public Library

Thursday afternoon, March 30, over 60 people entered the Independence Public Library to say farewell to retiring Front Desk Clerk Nancy Kishpaugh. In addition to traditional library duties, Kishpaugh organized events and was responsible for digitalizing yearbooks, among many other tasks. She also conducted oral history sessions with senior citizens in order to preserve Independence history. Her interviews for the Diversity Task Force, published on YouTube, remain some of her proudest accomplishments.

I wonder how many have had second thoughts about following Jesus. Certainly there have been many thousands who have been martyred because they were followers of Jesus. I wonder how many have turned away when the cost got “too high”? It has happened before.
