The Meadowlark Lounge will be hosting a benefit concert for the Independence Historical Museum & Art Center. It is a concert featuring Rodney Lay, his son Rodney Lay, Jr and friends. The concert will be held on Saturday, May 27, at the Independence Historical Museum & Art Center and will feature music from the 70s. The event will start at 7:00 p.m., with the doors opening at 6:00 p.m. This is a major fundraiser to support the “IHMAC Forever” campaign to improve the museum and its building.
