June 17, IPD officers responded to Labette Health ER, 510 N. Peter Pan Rd., for a report of a past assault. The following day the suspect, Victor Moore, 26, of Independence, was located and placed under arrest/processed for aggravated battery, according to Officer Daniel Bowers.
Criminal damage to property
June 16, IPD officers responded to a call of a vehicle parked at property in the 100 block of N. 10th St. After investigation, Roger Ruland, 51, was cited into municipal court for criminal damage to property, according to Officer Damon Athey.
Domestic battery
June 16, IDP officers responded to the 300 block of N. 4th St. for a report of domestic battery and battery, according to Officer Christina Johnson.
June 17, IPD officers responded to the 2300 block of N. 20th Pl. for a report of a domestic disturbance, according to Officer Justin Ward.
