DRUG OFFENSES

July 26, IPD officers were dispatched to Turbos Bar & Grill for a fight in progress. Upon arrival, officers were searching the area for a subject who walked away. They located an individual in the alley between Main and Myrtle streets, in the 100 block. Upon contact with the subject, he was found to have an active warrant through Wilson County. During a search of his person for booking purposes, suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located. Levi Nelson, 35, of Cherryvale, was placed under arrest for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, along with his warrant, according to Officer Dustin Taylor.

THEFT

July 26, IPD officers responded to the 500 block of S. 2nd St. for a theft report of some household appliances and electronics, according to Officer Shane Collins.

July 26, IPD officers responded to Walmart, 121 S. Peter Pan Rd., for a report of someone shoplifting bras, according to Officer Hilary Cook.
