Hare Carolyn Louise Hare, 79, of Independence, Kansas previously of Elk City, Kansas passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024, at home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 12, 2024, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Elk City, Kansas.

Holloway Kenton Leon Holloway (MadDog) lost a hard-fought battle with Pulmonary FIbrosis in the early morning hours of February 4, 2024. He was born December 2, 1955 in Independence, KS to Marvin E and Norma Lee (Orr) Holloway.

O’Mara Frank Maurice O’Mara, 63, passed away December 12, 2023, at his home in Elk City Kansas. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday February 9, 2024, at Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory.

Reece Irene Katzer (Linvill) Reece passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the age of 102 at Morningstar Care Homes of Neodesha. Irene Isabell Reece was born August 9, 1921, to Wenzel and Louise (Huss) Katzer on a farm west of Neodesha.

Barnes Margie Marie Barnes, age 97, of Iola, Kansas, was called to rest on January 25, 2024, at the Medicalodge in Iola, Kansas. Margie was born on September 13, 1926, in Howard, Kansas.
