Dixie Whitehurst, 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center. Dixie is survived by three sons: Keith, Neal, and Brian and one granddaughter Isabel.

Myers Betty Jean Myers of Coffeyville, KS passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in Coffeyville, Kansas at Medicalodges following a short illness and hospitalization. Betty was born in West Mineral, Kansas December 19, 1932, the daughter of Margaret Ellen (Hearson) and Oscar Hubert.

Scott Eugene Stephenson, age 68, of Sedan, Kansas, passed away, Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the Sedan City Hospital in Sedan. Scott was born on July 11, 1955 to Wilmer Stephenson and Darlene (McAlister) Stephenson in Sedan, Kansas.

Bennett Erna Mae Bennett, 102, went to be with her lord and savior on Saturday, March 9, 2024, in Cherryvale, Kansas. She was born on August 9, 1921, in Buffalo, Kansas the daughter of Robert Oscar Lacy and Nora (Williamson) Lacy.

Swisher William “Allen” Swisher, 92, of Piedmont, Kansas, died March 6, 2024. He was born November 20, 1931, to Allen Russell and Anna (Schoneman) Swisher on the family farm, north of Piedmont.

Gossett Karen Sue Gossett, age 80, passed away peacefully February 26, 2024, after a valiant battle with Dementia/Alzheimers. Karen, known by Sue to most, was born in Independence April 11, 1943, to Olin and Josie Lakin.

Higgs Ralph Emory Higgs of San Francisco, CA passed away on March 3, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. He touched many lives with his gentle spirit and positive outlook on life.

Sherman “Coach” Jones was reunited with his beloved wife, Kim, in heaven on March 3, 2024. He passed at the age of 77 in Coffeyville, Kansas at CRMC. A visitation will have been held on Wednesday, March 6, at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church 506 W. 9th, Coffeyville, at 10:00 a.m, with Pastor Jon Franson officiating. The burial will take place at Restlawn Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his wife, Kim. Memorial contributions may be made payable to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Oklahoma Union Education Foundation in Memory of Sherman Jones. Contributions may be left in care of the chapel.
