Teehee Norma Jean Teehee, age 87, passed away peacefully at Morningstar Care Homes of Fredonia, Kansas on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Norma was born on February 10, 1937, in El Dorado, Kansas to Leonard and Viola (Duke) Bell.

Edna Mae Chittum passed away April 28, 2024. The funeral service will be held at Coffeyville First Church of the Nazarene at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4. Tiecke William Tiecke, 66, of Mound Valley passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. Bill Tiecke was born June 25, 1957, in Muscatine, Iowa, to Louis 'Bud' and Dorothy Mae (Sheetz) Tiecke.

Hughes Michael “Mike” Wayne Hughes, 68, of rural Elk City, KS passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at his home. Mike was born on April 26, 1955, in Wichita, KS the son of Wayne Herbert and Joan Madeline (Wadsworth) Hughes.

Carvalho Our community lost a beloved and well-known member with the passing on April 22, 2024 of Leo Carvalho (87), who lived out his dreams of becoming an American and inspiring young people to learn other languages and cultures in the pursuit of a more connected and caring world. Leo is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ruth Carvalho and daughters Marcia Carvalho, Jackie Carvalho, Yvette Williams and husband Tony Williams.
