The Kansas City Royals were on the receiving end of a stellar Monday evening performance from Seattle Mariners starting pitcher George Kirby. Kirby, an All-Star last season, was formidable in limiting the Royals to just three hits in Seattle’s 6-2 series-opening victory at T-Mobile Park.

BATTERY May 4- At approximately 2:59 p.m., IPD Officers were dispatched to the Labette Emergency Medical Center, located at 510 North Peter Pan Road, for a report of an assault. After further investigation, Dana Hart, 65 of Independence, was issued a uniform complaint and notice to appear for battery.
